These skates are absolutely gorgeous.  That said, Hockey skate prices are getting insane.  These retail for $850.  I don’t know an amateur hockey player that would ever pay that much for a skate.  These prices are probably aimed at crazy helicopter hockey parents, who will buy anything that they perceive to get their 8 year old closer to the pros.  I hope I get the chance to try a pair of these on though, to see from a design perspective what they bring to the table.  Inlinewarehouse.com, my favorite hockey supply site, was used for the image.
